Why we’re climbing

A speech device arrives able to say I want juice and unable to say a word about the movie a kid has watched four times. Yak Back Foundation publishes free Voice Packs, AAC templates for TouchChat and Proloquo2Go, so nonverbal kids get the words for the things they actually love. Every one is free, forever, and tested with nonverbal AAC users before it goes out. Yak Back started as one family’s answer to that problem — meet the people behind the Voice Packs.

$25 builds a tenth of a Voice Pack. $250 funds a whole one: designed, tested, and kept free for every family who needs it.

How to take part

  • Climb with us. Register through the team link above. Adult registration is $25 through September 25 and $50 after. Kids are $25 with no fundraising minimum.
  • Climb virtually. $25, from anywhere, same team, same page. Pick “virtual” when you register.
  • Just give. Every dollar on the team page goes to the Arizona Cardinals Foundation’s community grants, and Team Yak Back’s total is what unlocks the team incentives that put Voice Packs in front of more families.
