Template Requests
Tell us what you would like a template for and we will build it — free, like everything else here. Requests from families are where most of our templates come from.
Please don’t include a child’s full name, school or diagnosis. Interests and the words you want are all we need.
Building for a school? Themes any child could use are always free here. If you need vocabulary for a specific student’s goals, your curriculum, or by a certain date, that’s a service we offer schools: see For Schools.
TouchChat with WordPower 60 or WordPower 108: our quickest turnaround. Most of our library is built on these two grids, so these requests usually come back first.
Any other WordPower size on TouchChat: yes, we build those too. WordPower 25, 42, 48, 80 and 140 all work. They take a little longer, because every board is laid out again to fit your grid, but they are part of what we do.
A different app or a custom vocabulary: special request. Proloquo2Go, TD Snap and custom vocabularies are not something we can build for every time yet. Send the request anyway and we will email you about what is possible.
Thank you for your response. ✨
Not sure which vocabulary you have?
In TouchChat, tap Menu → Vocab → Choose Vocab — the name at the top of the list is the one in use, and it usually has the number in it. Choosing “I don’t know” is completely fine; we would much rather have the request than a blank form.
Why the grid size matters. A template is a finished page that drops into the vocabulary already on the device. A page laid out for 60 buttons will not fit a 42-button grid, so we build each template for the grid you have. That is why we ask before we start.
While you wait, the Free AAC Library may already have something close to what you need.
