New free TouchChat template: Baking

Three linked TouchChat boards for a baking lesson: the step words and what hands do, every ingredient with the numbers one to ten, and the tools, the treats and the amounts.
A recipe is a sequence, so the first board is built around it: first, next, then, last sit beside the verbs a child needs at each step (add, put in, mix, stir, pour, measure, crack, roll, bake) and the kitchen safety words hot, careful and wash hands. A child can follow the recipe, ask for a turn, and say how it came out: yummy or yucky.
The ingredients board puts the numbers one to ten right beside the ingredients, so counting scoops is one tap away. The third board holds the tools, what is being baked, and the measuring words (cup, teaspoon, tablespoon, half, quarter, less) so a child can read a recipe aloud, not just watch it.

It is built for WordPower 60 on TouchChat. That is the one thing worth checking before you download: a page laid out for one grid size will not fit another. In TouchChat you can see which vocabulary is in use under Menu → Vocab → Choose Vocab.
It is free, like everything in our library. Get the Baking template for TouchChat, or browse the whole free library.
