New free TouchChat template: Superworm
One TouchChat board for Julia Donaldson’s Superworm: Superworm and his garden friends, the Wizard Lizard and his Crow, the chant children love to join in on, the capture and the rescue, and the words for reading it together.
Superworm is a story about helping. Superworm helps everyone in the garden, and when the Wizard Lizard and his Crow catch him with a magic spell and make him dig for treasure, the friends he helped come to rescue him. So the board carries those words beside the cast: help, rescue, kind, brave, bad, scared, sad, happy and friends.
The chant is whole-line buttons so a child can say it with the reader: Superworm is super long, Superworm is super strong, watch him wiggle see him squirm and hip hip hooray for Superworm. The story has its own words for retelling it: dig, treasure, magic spell, rope, garden and fly, with the toad, the beetle, the bees and the spider. It is one book, so it is one board, with turn the page, read it again, the end and my turn for reading it together.

It is built for WordPower 60 on TouchChat. That is the one thing worth checking before you download: a page laid out for one grid size will not fit another. In TouchChat you can see which vocabulary is in use under Menu → Vocab → Choose Vocab.
It is free, like everything in our library. Get the Superworm template for TouchChat, or browse the whole free library.
