New free TouchChat template: Bowling

One TouchChat board for a trip to the bowling alley. It has the ball, the pins, the lane, the ramp and the bumpers, the words for taking turns, and the feelings that come with a strike or a gutter ball.
Bowling is a turn-taking game with a lot of waiting, a lot of noise and the odd gutter ball. So this board is built around turns: my turn, your turn and wait sit together, and your turn shows one child handing the ball to another.
It includes the ramp and the bumpers, because that is how many children bowl, and most bowling word lists leave them out.
The feelings are for the moments that actually happen at the lane: hooray, I did it and good job for a strike, oh no and frustrated for a gutter ball, too loud for the noise, and all done for when it is time to go.
What’s on the boards
- Bowling — One board — me, friend, mom, dad; bowl, aim, pick up, knock down, wait, clap, high five, win; fast, slow, heavy, fun; bowling ball, pins, lane, bowling shoes, ramp, bumpers, gutter, strike, pizza; my turn, your turn, good job, hooray, oh no, I did it, excited, frustrated, too loud, all done.
It is built for WordPower 60 on TouchChat. That is the one thing worth checking before you download: a page laid out for one grid size will not fit another. In TouchChat you can see which vocabulary is in use under Menu → Vocab → Choose Vocab.
It is free, like everything in our library. Get the Bowling template for TouchChat — or browse the whole free library.
