New free TouchChat template: Numberblocks

Five linked TouchChat boards for WordPower 48 — the Numberblocks from Zero to One Hundred, the counting words the show teaches, every Numberblock’s color and the shapes they make, building with blocks, and the feelings that come with learning something new.
Every Numberblock is a number, so on the main board a child who points at Three is naming the character and the amount at the same time. The cast runs in counting order, Zero to Twelve, then Twenty and One Hundred.
The Counting board uses the show’s own ideas: one more, one less, double, and odd and even drawn the way the show draws them, as pairs of blocks with one left over. Next to them are add, take away, equals, how many, the ten frame and the number line.
Children know each Numberblock by its color, One red, Two orange, Three yellow, so the Colors & Shapes board carries every one of those colors, plus the squares and rectangles the Numberblocks turn into.
The Feelings board is made for a child working something out: I’m confused, I made a mistake, that’s hard and try again, next to I can do it, take a deep breath and I need a break.

It is built for WordPower 48 on TouchChat. That is the one thing worth checking before you download: a page laid out for one grid size will not fit another. In TouchChat you can see which vocabulary is in use under Menu → Vocab → Choose Vocab.
It is free, like everything in our library. Get the Numberblocks template for TouchChat — or browse the whole free library.
