New free TouchChat template: Jokes

One TouchChat board for telling jokes — knock-knock jokes, classic puns, and the words for trading them back and forth with friends. Built on the WordPower 108 grid.
A joke is all timing, and timing is the hardest thing to get through a device. So every joke here is two buttons: the setup and the punchline. The teller chooses when to pause, watches the other person guess, and then lands it.
It works from both sides of a knock-knock joke. Knock knock, who’s there and who sit on the top row, so the same board can tell the joke or answer it. Around them are the words that make joking social: I have a joke, tell me a joke, get it, I don’t get it, I give up, your turn, another one, and the reactions, from that’s funny to that’s so bad.
The jokes are clean, classic and age-appropriate for teens: the ones everyone has heard at school, so a friend groans in the right place. What do you call and why did the are there for making up new ones.
What’s on the pages
- Jokes: I have a joke, tell me a joke, knock knock, who’s there, who, get it, I don’t get it, another one, your turn; that’s funny, ha ha, good one, that’s so bad, I give up, let me guess, the answer is, so silly, my turn; knock-knock jokes: Lettuce, Boo, Orange, Interrupting cow, Nobel, Justin, Wooden shoe, each with its punchline; pun jokes: a fake noodle, skeletons, a bear with no teeth, cheese that isn’t yours, the scarecrow, a sleeping dinosaur, the math book, a dog magician, the cookie, the ocean, a pig that does karate, a snowman in summer, each with its punchline; what do you call, why did the.
It is built for WordPower 108 on TouchChat. That is the one thing worth checking before you download: a page laid out for one grid size will not fit another. In TouchChat you can see which vocabulary is in use under Menu → Vocab → Choose Vocab.
It is free, like everything in our library. Get the Jokes template for TouchChat, or browse the whole free library.
Need something we do not have yet? Tell us what to build. Requests from families are where most of these come from.
